Call to Action! Bad Bill Incoming in Colorado!
Hey, guys, a bit of an off-topic post. Colorado has recently proposed a bill that would sue and fine businesses that post "hate speech" or political misinformation via online platforms.
Given the crazier and crazier definition of both these terms (see the recent "cancellings" of such famous authors as Dr. Seuss and J.K. Rowling), this would likely mean us here at FoxFireFiction, as we focus in part on giving non-traditional artists and authors a community, voice, and platform, no matter the political stripes they identify with. We'd hate for our growing community to come into the cross-hairs of bad actors intolerant of politically incorrect speech, and we would also like to remind Colorado that we have a First Amendment that protects any kind of artistic or intellectual expression that does not outright call for violence or discrimination!
If you have a care, please join us in writing our state representatives and telling them how punitive and unhelpful we find this bill. As far as I know, you do NOT have to be a Colorado resident to opine on it (though of course it would help, so if you know any Coloradoans, make them aware!)

Thank you for your support, and I genuinely hope this is the first, last, and only time we will have to engage in politics to protect the freedoms of this community.
